One the Cairo Geniza Manuscripts - Manuscript No. 2541

An Analytical Study

There were a lot of Manuscripts written in Judaeo-Arabic by Jews in the middle ages. Many of these dealt with religious polemics. This study tries to reanalyze one of these Manuscripts, which have been discovered in Cairo Geniza. The study gives an introduction about the Judaeo-Arabic, its appearance, use and the most popular literary works written in it. Then it moves to the context of the Manuscript. It shows also the reason why the writer of this manuscript chose this language for his Manuscript, and analyzes the style in which the manuscript is written. At the end of this study the researchers transfer the text of the Manuscript into Arabic script to make it easier to understand by readers of Arabic.
